For all of you that enjoyed Dead West, the follow up finally has a release date. Dead Cells will be published on September 1st, and will be the zombie novel to end all zombie novels. Set in a maximum-security prison, Dead Cells will be a claustrophobic gore-fest. How do you run from the zombie hordes when you are incarcerated in one of the most brutal prison-systems created? The story will have references to its predecessor, although none of the characters from the first book will be making an appearance since Dead Cells is set almost a hundred and twenty years after the events in Dead West. This will be book two in a trilogy that I, for the time being, refer to as "The Dead Trilogy". The third book will be released next year.
I will be revealing the cover artwork for Dead Cells very soon, which is by the artist who created the cover for Dead West, Chris Taggart. I, for one, can hardly contain myself.
The book that started it all for me, Only In Whispers, will be re-released in time for Christmas.
It is something that I have been thinking of for a while now, and it just seems appropriate that my first published novel would get a makeover.
First published in 2004, it tells the story of one girl's struggle with her abusive and murderous uncles.
The book will be available from December 1st in Paperback and on Kindle.
I hope that you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.
Stay scared, folks.
Say Goodnight To the Bad Guys is a new anthology featuring my short story "The Caged Doll".
Sometimes the bad guy wins, and this collection shows what happens when there are no happy-endings.
